Corran, meaning 'the peninsula' in Gaelic, is the name of the beach across the bay. This traditional (stone built) Hebridean crofter's house has recently undergone a renovation and has been upgraded and furnished to a high standard. This is the ideal place to stay if you're looking to have a base in West Harris to do some exploring, spend your day on Luskentyre beach, or want to relax in front of the wood burning stove.
The house sleeps five (+ one). Upstairs is the king sized master bedroom, a twin bedroom and a small single bedroom. Downstairs, the large dining room, with views overlooking the bay, has a large table and comfortable sofa. Access to the beach is a short walk across the sand dunes from the bottom of the driveway.
